Local songwriters have the opportunity to be the voice of Durham Tourism. Songwriters – professional or amateur – can submit a one-minute jingle about Durham for a chance to win $500 and perform their jingle live at the Songwriters Music Festival.
Jingles will be judged by Durham Tourism and Ron Beer of the Durham Regional Songwriters Group. The winner will be announced at the Songwriters Music Festival in Whitby at the Whitby Centennial Building on Jan. 29, where the winning jingle will be performed during the opening ceremony. For more information about and to purchase tickets for the Songwriters Music Festival, please click here!
Jingles should be one minute in length, be original compositions and must not infringe on any copyright. Songwriters may opt to use the Durham Tourism “Good Natured, Good Times” slogan or create a new catch phrase.

- Go to www.artoftransition.ca to submit your video before 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24.
