Durham Tourism is proud to present the first Durham Tourism Summit and Durham Art of Transition Creative Awards at the Durham College/ UOIT Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre on Nov. 25, 2011. This day-long celebration of Durham Region’s creative economy will showcase our rich history, dynamic attractions, and innovative business community.

• Tourism industry stakeholders
  are invited to collaborate with colleagues, listen to a series of speakers and learn more about opportunities for growth in Durham Region. Stakeholders also have the opportunity to attend the Durham Tourism Business Breakfast (8 to 9:30 a.m.).
• Members of the public
  from Durham Region and beyond are invited to discover all Durham has to offer through an interactive marketplace of tradeshow booths, culinary samplings, arts, culture, heritage displays and more! Admission is free.

The Durham Tourism Summit will conclude with the award ceremony for the first-ever Durham Art of Transition Creative Awards (DATCA).
