The Scugog Council for the Arts (SCA) is excited to announce the launch of a very special event in Scugog. The 1st Scugog Mayor’s Annual Gala for the Arts to be held on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the Scugog Community Recreation Centre.

The evening will include a dinner featuring local food, fabulous entertainment and an incredibly tempting silent/live auction showcasing art and fine craft, experiences and more!

The highlight of the evening will be a roast by friends and colleagues of outgoing Scugog Mayor Marilyn Pearce, in honour of her retirement from local politics.

The Scugog Council for the Arts actively works with the Township of Scugog to cultivate a creative community with a vibrant arts scene and cultural economy.
